Getting There

Multiple access points in New Glasgow and Stellarton. In New Glasgow take Stellarton Rd. to the Duff Cemetery, park in the area provided. Once on the trail walk towards the river to get to the Albion Trail.

The Albion Trail extends the well-known Samson trail from the Duff Cemetery all the way to Bridge Av. in Stellarton. The trail continues following the East River of Pictou and will take you past the train bridge and under the 104 Highway to the Nova Scotia Museum of Industry.

Up to this point the trail is very well kept and easy going. The trail continues from here to Bridge Av. but the quality of the trail diminishes a little but is still very good and looks like it will improve as they develop the trail more.

This trail is a good addition to the Samson Trail system and is an example of communities working together to provided a great recreational trail for all.
