Getting There

Take Exit 26 from Highway 101 and follow the signs for Acaciaville, continue through until you see Mill Road on the left. Follow this dirt road to the provided parking area at the bottom of the hill. The trail starts here beside the brook.

The Acacia Trail starts alongside Pine Brook and continues to follow the brook upstream past fishing holes and a small waterfall. The first part of the trail is a fairly easy short loop along the brook and back to the parking lot. The trail surface of this section is wide and flat for easy wheelchair access to the fishing platforms. There are also rest area platforms with tables.

The second section of the trail continues upstream from where you can turn to go back to the parking lot. This section takes you to a small waterfall with an observation platform near the woods road. From here you can walk back the road to the parking lot.

At the waterfall you can cross over the road and continue to follow the trail upstream even further. This section of the Acacia Trail was still under construction during our visit. At that time the trail was marked and fairly easy to follow for the most part, but is more of a natural hiking trail then a walking path and at times some bushwhacking may be involved.
